BROOD Ramble

BROOD's 22nd Annual Ramble Fundraiser will be held on Saturday, September 21. We will be at Frying Pan Park in Herndon, Virginia again this year. Registration opens at 9:30 am. The Ramble starts at 10 am. This year’s theme is Basset Pumpkin Patch. Be sure to be there to help us celebrate 23 years of saving the lives of over 3100 hounds. Many thanks to Joan Portner for her fabulous Basset Pumpkin Patch artwork!

There will be a day of fun activities, lunch, auctions, raffles, shopping and contests for humans and hounds alike. Be sure to come and enter your hound in the Talent Show, Costume Contest, Pie Eating Contest and the famous Basset 500 Race!

LOCATION: Frying Pan Park at 2709 West Ox Road, Herndon, VA 20171.
Directions: For directions and a map go to Use the main entrance and proceed along the main entrance road to the equestrian barn area and look for signs pointing to the BROOD event parking area. (Do not enter or park at second entrance on West Ox Road for the Visitor Center.)

What is a Ramble? The Ramble is BROOD’s premier fundraising event each year, and it is a great day to come out and meet other basset hound owners and their hounds at a beautiful location. Come and hang out with humans and hounds and support BROOD’s rescue work at the same time.
