In 2011, BROOD rescued 126 basset hounds and found homes for 116 hounds.

Moreover, in 2011 we celebrated a milestone with our 2000th adoption since we were founded over 15 years ago!

85% of our revenue goes to providing direct veterinary and kennel care to the homeless hounds we rescue.

We average about 40 to 45 dogs in our care at any time, with about 30 to 35 dogs in foster homes and the remainder in boarding kennels.
