arnold makes his mark

We had been wanting a basset hound for about a year. We were trying to find breeders when we stumbled upon the BROOD website. We submitted our application and it all happened so fast. 

We were so LUCKY to find Arnold. When we first met him he seemed a little feisty. He was chasing our current dog Molly around the foster house biting her legs. However we took him home and within days or maybe it was weeks, he calmed down and became the most lovable dog I have ever met. 

Arnold loves laying on the couch with his Dad. Those two bonded immediately. Then when he gets wound up he will chase Molly around the yard, which she LOVES!! 

Arnold does not like the fact that he is not allowed to sleep on our bed, but he has four of his own now and will put up with having to sleep on them, or on the couch! He enjoys his almost daily walks and barking at all the dogs we meet along the way. I learned to take a lot of doggie bags with me because he leaves his mark everywhere! 

People always ask me if he is still a puppy because he has so much energy. Really he just gets it out all at once then he gets pretty lazy. He has been an amazing addition to our family. 

After having Arnold we have decided that we will always have a basset hound and we will always get them from BROOD!
