When JohnJohn came to BROOD, he was a very young, frisky boy who needed lots of love, lots of patience and lots of training.  Sometimes his new Dad wondered if he would ever calm down and behave in a reasonably calm way. But his Mom had faith. 

Thanks to the efforts of his foster, Elnita Krell, and the determination and dedication of his new dad and mom, Chuck & Betsy Edwards in Richmond, he is now a community volunteer!  Here you see Johan (re-named after Chuck's favorite composer) is resplendent in his t-shirt as the mascot for a North Carolina Epilepsy Support group at their annual walkathon.

BROOD's bassets are the best!
