What
a name ... Muldoon. I met Muldoon without my husband and just fell in
love. I dragged my spouse to the foster home one winter night and prayed
he felt the same. After "not wanting to rush into anything" we
left without him. We were looking for a buddy for our beagle,
Pickles.
After much persuasion, I
convinced him that this *basset plus* was for us. Very soon Muldoon
became more than just a buddy, especially to my husband. I think he is
more attached to Muldoon than I am (if that's possible)! Dune-Bugg (his
nickname from the foster parents) has become a buddy, friend, family
member, and protector. I don't know how he came to BROOD, but he has
entered our family and our hearts in a way I can't describe. It's
amazing how Eskimos have so many words for snow, the French have
countless words to describe love but we here in the states have only
very few words to describe appreciation and thanks.
I am so thankful for Muldoon
finding his way into our home. My thanks goes to BROOD, his foster
family and countless others whom helped rescue this basset mix. The
picture shows our Muldoon watching over our newest family member!
BROOD is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, incorporated in
