this
is one lucky guy!
 We
picked up Patrick O'Smiley (formerly known as Beaker) a little before
St. Patrick's day near Hanover PA. The foster dad was kind enough
to hold him for a couple of weeks until we went to Illinois to see our
son graduate from Navy boot camp because I didn't want to bring
Beaker home and have to leave him with a sitter!
Well, let me tell you since we got him, he has
been a little doll! He is really small and has been great since
the moment we met! He was great on the ride home and gets along
great with our two-year-old female basset.
He has had the best time finding all her toys
and hiding them, she just sits and watches, wondering, what is he doing?
They have had a great time chasing each other, wrestling and just
hanging out!
Today our weather was great and my daughters
took him to the park. Now he is zonked out!
He is so friendly to all our neighbors, old and
young, who have stopped by to meet him! I will recommend and have
recommended BROOD to one and all! Bassets are Best!
P.S. We named him Patrick in honor of St Patty's
Day and the fact that he has red fur and freckles, O'Smiley comes from
his smilin' face!
